Accra, Ghana – The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced a significant reduction in the cost of application forms for admission into Health Training Institutions across Ghana for the 2025/2026 academic year. This move aims to make healthcare education more accessible and affordable for aspiring students.


Key Details for Applicants

1. Application Period

  • Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd April 2025
  • Closing Date: Thursday, 19th June 2025

Prospective applicants are advised to complete and submit their forms within this window. Further guidelines and admission requirements will be published soon by the Ministry.

2. Reduced Application Fee

  • Previous Cost: GH₵ 200.00
  • New Cost: GH₵ 150.00

The Ministry emphasized that the GH₵ 50 reduction reflects its commitment to removing financial barriers for students pursuing careers in healthcare.


3. Where to Purchase Forms

Application forms will ONLY be sold through the following authorized banks:

  • GCB Bank PLC
  • Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)

Applicants must avoid unauthorized vendors to prevent fraud or inflated charges.

Reason for the Reduction

According to the Ministry, the decision to lower the application fee aligns with broader efforts to:

  • Promote equitable access to healthcare education.
  • Encourage more qualified candidates to apply.
  • Support Ghana’s healthcare workforce development goals.
